Interior Alaska is easy to get wrong. The distances are bigger than they look on the map, the mountain hides behind clouds, and most of what's sold to visitors is built for cruise passengers on a schedule. Families end up spending their trip in a car.
We want to fix that, one family at a time. A few good places to stay, each a base for a different side of the interior. A few days out, planned around kids instead of in spite of them. And guides that tell you plainly what's worth it.
